Recently, I’ve been diving into classic Roland synthesizers—such as the JV‑1080, XV‑5080, and JD‑990—and rekindling my fascination with their iconic sound.
The timeless character of these instruments inspired me to craft something special for the Access Virus TI (VIPER Edition).
The ORION JV800 soundbank isn’t intended as a direct, one‑to‑one replication of those vintage tones; instead, it captures the essence of their rich sonic character.
This bank delivers the warmth, texture, and depth of the classics while providing modern flexibility.

By slightly changing the approach to programming this Virus Ti soundbank, we managed to create many very interesting and original sound.

What does “VIPER EDITION” mean?
All presets were created on the Access Virus TI, transferred to VIPER 1.2.2, and then re‑edited to achieve a very close match.
Some presets have also been enhanced with effects that the Virus TI doesn’t offer—such as “Shimmer Reverb.”
Please note that the conversion isn’t always 100% accurate, since Viper and the Virus TI are two different synthesizers.
In the end, however, the results are impressive, and most patches sound virtually identical to those on the Virus TI.
!!! REMEMBER: THE VIPER EDITION DOES NOT WORK WITH THE ACCESS VIRUS TI !!!

Product Explanation
This product contains synthesizer presets in mid (.mid) Access Virus Ti
Presets do not contain sampled audio (melodic or otherwise) but rather ‘data’ (synthesizer programs) that can be loaded using the popular Access Virus Ti synthesizer. A collection of presets are collectively referred to as a bank.

However, due to the nature of our products (non-tangible irrevocable goods), all digitally delivered products from ULTIMATE X SOUNDS are not eligible for return or refund. The customer may at any time cancel their order before payment has been processed.
