THE OTHERWORLD ANTHOLOGY is a 256 patch collection for Access Virus TI, created for psychological tension, industrial decay, and cinematic unease. Inspired by the unsettling atmosphere of classic horror, the oppressive world of Silent Hill, the bio-mechanical terror of Resident Evil, and the dark fragility of Little Nightmares, this collection pushes the Virus TI into far darker territory filled with fog-soaked ambiences, rusted textures, unstable machinery, distorted low end, and deeply unsettling detail.
This collection is divided into two complementary parts, each exploring a different side of the same nightmare.
Part 1 focuses on the psychological side of the experience, built around long-form dark ambient textures, evolving pads, haunting drones, and fragile lo-fi atmospheres that feel suspended somewhere between silence and collapse.
These sounds move slowly, breathe naturally, and create the kind of tension that lingers long after the note has faded. It is a world of fog, distance, emotional weight, and creeping unease.
Part 2 shifts toward the physical and mechanical. Here the palette becomes heavier, harsher, and more aggressive, built around industrial distortion, metallic resonance, experimental percussion, broken rhythmic elements, and basslines designed to carry real weight without losing detail or character. It is the sound of pressure, movement, mutation, and machinery turning hostile.
Together, both parts form a complete horror-oriented sound world for the Access Virus TI. From deep cinematic underscoring and dark ambient exploration to distorted industrial sequences, unstable synthetic percussion, and damaged low-end textures, THE OTHERWORLD ANTHOLOGY gives you a wide and coherent palette for tracks that need atmosphere, impact, and a strong identity.
This is not just a collection of presets designed to fill space in a mix. It is a sound library built to shape mood, intensify tension, and pull a track into darker emotional territory.
Whether you are building slow psychological dread, scoring a nightmare, or searching for sounds that feel damaged, emotional, and alive, THE OTHERWORLD ANTHOLOGY was designed to push the Virus TI far beyond the obvious.

PART I
PART II

Inspired by the Team Silent philosophy and the surrealism of Jacob’s Ladder.
This bank is designed for those "quiet" moments where the tension is unbearable. It’s about the textures of a world that is slowly rotting away. We’ve utilized the Virus TI’s granular and wavetable engines to create sounds that feel "alive" and unpredictable.
Shifting, organic pads that feel like a flickering light in a basement.
Abstract Dissonance: Non-musical textures designed to create an immediate sense of "wrongness" and discomfort.

It focuses on the physical, the mechanical, and the biological.
This bank is characterized by heavy saturation, metallic resonances, and experimental rhythms.
Foundation Basses: Solid, "calm" basslines designed to provide a steady low-end pulse.
Metallic Distortion: A wide array of patches specifically tuned for the Bit-Crusher and Saturation circuits, recreating the aggressive, metallic screech of industrial horror.

Demo note: Drums are included in the audio demo, but are not part of the library. No extra effects were used on the Virus TI sounds, only light bus compression and subtle overall EQ.

A few words from our sound designer- Mr.X
"To create these sounds, I drew strong inspiration from the recent Resident Evil scores, the haunting atmosphere
of the Silent Hill soundtrack, and the deeply unsettling musical world of Little Nightmares.
Akira Yamaoka has been one of my strongest inspirations since the early 2000s. What he creates goes far beyond music. It is atmosphere, tension, and psychological weight shaped into sound.
I have also been influenced by composers working in a similar emotional and unsettling space, including Tobias Lilja, Jason Graves, Cris Velasco, Olivier Derivière, and Yuka Kitamura. Their work carries a powerful sense of darkness, fragility, and cinematic tension that resonates deeply with me.
When I sat down to create the demo for this project, I already knew what I wanted to achieve.
For me, a very good sign is when a sound already feels like the beginning of a soundtrack on its own. If the tone is strong and inspiring, the whole creative process starts to flow naturally.
I spent countless hours bringing these 256 sounds to life, and once everything was ready, I locked myself in the studio with them and started building the demo tracks. The process moved very smoothly. There is enough depth and variety here to add new layers quickly, while everything still stays cohesive and connected by a similar atmosphere. That makes writing much easier and much more natural.
Honestly, I spent two weeks creating the presentation tracks, and I could have kept going much longer. Every time I jumped between patches, another idea for a piece inspired by Silent Hill or Resident Evil appeared almost instantly. That was exactly the point. I wanted these sounds to spark music on their own.
Some of these patches are twisted, unstable, raw, and deeply atmospheric, exactly the kind of tones I was searching for.
If you are looking for sounds that do more than simply fill space in a mix, sounds that can shape the mood and infect the atmosphere of your track, you are in the right place.
Welcome to the other side "
